Reminds me baby of you.

Last week myself and seven dancers began our research and development period for a new project 'Reminds me baby of you.'

This short creative process will culminate in a performance as part of Live Bites at Yorkshire Dance on Friday 4th November.

The general inspiration for the project was to create something 'unconventional' across the board. Something distorted in its structure, and ultimately conveying a feeling of unbalance and confusion.

Lost.

These images (below) capture the feeling I have been so excited to create.
A detailed group of indivduals on a blank canvas.
They may appear lost but they have eachother.
unnatural yet completely natural,
unsettling to you and me yet amongst eachother they are totally comfortable.

Talking amongst themselves, in their own language.

You aren't welcome, you wouldnt understand.
